Jon Woodall

At the tender age of 23 Jon Woodall is already in the thick of the music industry. Since starting a Music Technology course at 16 in his hometown Middlesbrough he has gone on to hold down residencies at various venues including Bar 55 in Newcastle and Space in Leeds.As well as these regular gigs Jon has travelled to Germany and Spain to DJ, including playing to a sold out club in Dusseldorf on New Years Eve 04.In 2006 his career took a step up when Dave Beer heard him playing at the after party Very Very Wrong Indeed, Jon was given his chance at the legendary Back to Basics. The Basics connection didn’t stop there with Jon playing there 4 times in 6 months.These days Jon is resident for the official basics after party, “AfterBasics is Whalebow” @ the Mint Club, held every Sunday morning, as well as his guest gigs so there are plenty of chances to check him out!
