I started out spending most of my time socialising with my mates while listening to varied genres of music, ranging from heavy rock to IDM. After having a bit of a mess around on my university housemate's old belt drives I got a love for mixing up house music, which eventually influenced me to save up and buy my own decks. After a bit of time trying to find my feet and see how to make two tracks sound good together, I volunteered to play in a bar for a friends party. From then my confidence grew and a weekly residence at the Old Police Station was founded. This evolved over a short period of time to the moment I helped promote and DJ for a night with Lukas in Leeds called Submerge (R.I.P). Past guests include Jacob London, Junia Ovadose, Al Bradley and Jacob (3am/MFF) as well as some local lads such as Ben Echochamber and Solo. This led to guest slots in some amazing nights around Leeds, which then caught the attention of the TW_TS promoters who asked me to be a resident for their parties. Since then I have also been warmly welcomed into the arms of the long established Sunday Roast team as their 3rd Resident alongside their newest quarterly resident Leo Belchetz of Chibuku!
I have had the pleasure of playing guest slots in a few cool places around Leeds & Bradford including Back to Basics, Rude Not 2 and The Jam @ MyHouse, The Mint Club, Purrfect Electro @ Mission, Gatecrasher Discoteque, Subvert @ Wire, Hifi Club for Dirty Disco, The Faversham, Velvet Underground, Dr Wu's, Revolution,Tiggerish @ BRB, The Lounge, The Old Police Station, Love Apple, Ketoloco and many, MANY dodgy afterparties!
I have even now had the pleasure of playing outside of the UK with the TW_TS clan in Germany! Over a mad weekend in November 2007, 40+ of us descended upon Sanatorium 23 in Berlin.
