Influences: Hi my name is Ben Howe (ben-jamin) I have been a Dj for several years playing at various nights and venues across Yorkshire and Lancashire.I have also organized and promoted two club nights Funktion and Discopolis. The recent night Discopolis had a monthly residency at Rood:er, Skipton and features Dj`s and Acts both local and National. In the last few months we have Dj`s Danny Savage (Filth/Wakefield) and Grounded Dj`s (Freedom/Soho,London),Live acts such as TIMtable and the vocal talents of Salena. Discopolis continues to go from strength to strength with a warm and friendly atmosphere and a diverse spectrum of music.I have recently stopped running the Discopolis night to focus on Djing and Production with production being my recently found love. I hope in time to bring in original live vocals to my production and Dj sets as my recent Discopolis Set featuring the Vocal talents of Salena. I will also be available to play for other nights and venues so please send a message to arrange bookings. My Djing and production mainly revolves around the house genre in its varous forms but I have also delved into the world of Down Tempo, Breaks and Drum and Bass.
