Your Royal G-ness

About Me

Well, lil' ol me started out in musical life being the fella that hangs around musicians..... That's right I was the drummer! I started giggin' when I was about 16, with Custer's Last Band (can you see what they did there?) bangin' the skins to blues, country, rockabilly, folkey, all sorts, covers.
In the summer of 97 I joined Episonic where we had 5 years of indie rock madness up and down the North West.
In the early to mid 2000's, I hooked up with a few DJ mates (Ben-jamin, Error 6 and Jukebox Jonce to name but a few of the main offenders) and played live percussion through there sets at Funktion/Discopolis. Hip-hop, soul, funk, four to the floor, drum n' bass, indie and a few giggles.
Currently I'm in two spankin bands. Strangers & Aliens, 3 piece indie electronicy good times. Bandmates, TIMtable & Lizzie Bannoffee are the ones who very patiently brought me into the 21st century, using computers to make music.
And 21st Century Urban Bluesmen, a 2 piece acoustic punk folk modern day skiffle band, with long serving henchman Dazz Nast.
Alongside that, jammin with the teatime crew: Sean of the Shed and The Unknown Guitarist.
Inbetween all of that I like sitting and drinking cups of tea (there's only so much rock n' roll that you can fit into a day)
