Eddie Armani

Eddie Armani is a talented DJ and Producer, his style of music is funky house and Electro. His first track "Feel this" with awesome vocals from Shannagh D which is a rework of 'aint nobody' is signed to One Foot in the Groove Records with remixes from OFITG, Peak Time Players, Jamie Fisher and The Groovemasterz. It charted high on traxsource.com when promo'd in October and got to No.1 in the house charts on djdownload.com when released in November2007 and No.1 in the Housexy chart on Ministry of Sound in Dec 2007. He has just finished his new track 'Naughty North' which he sang the vocals on and is a house fueled track with uplifting strings and riff that gives it a nice trancey feel. It has been signed to High Voltage Records and due for release in March. He has also recently produced a track with Gavin Lampitt under the guise House Addicts called 'keep on pumpin it up' Featuring one of the UK's biggest vocalists Kay Jay. It's an energetic electro track with an old skool piano that is rockin' the dancefloors all over the uk. He is currently working on remixes with the Groovemasterz and a brand new Electro track that is sure to be a massive hit. Check the Groovemasterz page for track updates and mix downloads. He has a full schedule of tracks and remixes to do with other top DJ's and producers that will be released throughout 2008 and is in the process of setting up his own record label so watch this space. Eddie started Djing when he was 15 years of age. After being introduced to house music by listening to Graeme Park's mix tapes from the Hacienda, Eddie knew this was definately the genre of music he would enjoy most. After learning to mix on vinyl Eddie decided it was time to broaden his horizons. Starting off in local bars running his own nights, Eddie has surely been there and done that. The journey is never easy but his passion for music certainly grew and grew with him. He eventually started DJ'ing in Leeds at various bars including Fudge, Fibre + Revolution. He currently holds a residency at Funky Dory@The Space every Sunday night that is one of the best nights in Leeds and won an award for best club night of the north voted for by Galaxy fm. From being there from day one he has watched how successful the night has become and is going from strength touring the UK with nights in Manchester, Doncaster, Sheffield, Skipton and Hull. His style of music is Electro house, but has still got a love for uplifting vocal house tracks and big piano tunes and is not afraid to drop an old skool piano classic into one of his sets. No matter how long he plays or how little sleep he's had he always manages to bring his energetic and vibrant personality along with him. He really gets the crowd going every time he plays and really works it behind those decks, dancing and rocking the dancefloor. He has played at all of Leeds' clubs including Gatecrasher, Mission and Rehab and has had the pleasure of working with the industry's biggest names, such as: Pete Tong_ Raul Rincon_Ian Carey_Graeme Park_ Herd and Fitz_Hoxton Whores_Whelan and Di Scala_Tony Walker_Dave_Huey_Soulseekerz_Oliver Lang_Brandon Block_Howard Donald and many more.
