Dale Castell is a young, up & coming DJ / Producer from Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Music has always been Dale’s passion, and 1st discovered house music around 6 years ago. He instantly fell in love with the club scene and music alike and from this spent 5 years visiting the North of England’s best club nights, experiencing various genres of house music as well as meeting many, many friends along the way.
Dale’s 1st opportunity to DJ in a club was when he helped run an after party @ The Tube in Halifax for a one off local music event called "Spudstock" in 2004.. As he was involved in running the night, when a support DJ dropped out, he was asked to fill in.. Although he had no records of his own and no experience he rose to the challenge. It went suprisingly well, and from this he was offered a sunday night residency @ The Tube, which then led to playing bank holidays, Christmas / New Years Eve Specials & eventually Friday nights.
From his 1st gig @ the Tube Dale has grown & grown, and in the last 6 months his career has really taken off, and has seen him play some of the best & upcoming nights in the Yorkshire & Manchester region…With Dale’s own style he’s able to blend Upfront, Funky, Dirty & Electro House to make no set alike, ripping the dance floor apart by dropping fat Basslines & Hookin’ Vocals, whippin’ the crowd into a frenzy.. By drawing influences from his earlier clubbing years and from friends & DJ’s around him, together with his music and his incredible enthusiasm behind the decks, he always delivers the goods.
With his own production looming, and more dates on the calendar in both the UK & Ibiza, Dale is definitely one to watch for the future…
