I'm a songwriter/composer from Malaysia * , and my main genres are pop , rock , Christian/inspirational , and my absolute favorite, contemporary musical theatre - which basically means whatever genre is required for a theatrical project! This has included electronica , R&B , jazz and classical . Check out my new Christian music myspace here !
Right now I'm focusing more on writing radio-friendly songs in addition to working on several musical theatre projects. I'm looking to meet creative people - composers, playwrights, musicians, lyricists - for friendships and collaborations .
As I am still learning to develop my vocal and recording skills, I'm interested in meeting skilled and experience people in the industry who might be able to teach me more and help me develop my material. I'd love to meet new people who might be looking to record / produce original songs, to collaborate on new material, to work on a musical theatre project ... if you like my music - or would just like to say hello - drop me a line!
* PS: My profile currently states I'm in the US even though I'm in Malaysia - I sincerely apologise for this, but Myspace has strange rules for international friend requests that didn't allow me to make contact with others easily, consistently demanding that I enter a last name or email address to send a friend request. Other songwriting accomplishments include being a Hot Pick Winner and Distinction commendation recipient in the Pacific Songwriting Competition for 2005 and 2006 respectively.

Band Members: During my years of study in Perth, Australia between 2002 and 2005, I focused mainly on musical theatre projects. These included my first full-length original musical staged in November '05, the Christmas-themed Follow The Light , which was awarded Second Place for Best Musical and a Special Certificate For Writing (Book, Music & Lyrics) in Perth's Finley Awards for Independent Theatre 2005. Then there was this bizarrely curious, flamboyant pseudo- Bollywood Shakespearean musical, Richard III , staged in November 2003.
