Thanks To them, and their sacrifices we can celebrate the 4th of July! We must never forget who gets the credit for the freedoms we have, of which we should be eternally grateful.I watched the flag Pass by one day, It fluttered in the breeze.A young Marine Saluted it, And then he stood at ease..I looked at Him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud, With hair cut square And eyes alert He'd stand out in any crowd.I thought how many men Like him Had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil How many mothers' tears? How many pilots' planes shot down? How many died at sea How many foxholes were soldiers' graves? NO, freedom isn't free.I heard the sound of Taps One night, When everything was still, I listened to the bugler play And felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times that Taps had meant 'Amen,'When a flag had draped a coffin. of a brother or a friend.I thought of all the children, of the mothers and the wives, of fathers, sons and husbands with interrupted lives.I thought about a graveyard at the bottom of the seaOf unmarked graves in Arlington. No, freedom isn't free.Enjoy Your Freedom! & God Bless Our Troops! Show Your Support. Please stop for a moment And Say a Prayer for our servicemen. !Of all the gifts you could give A US Soldier, Prayer is the very best one. The special people in this world are the most precious and the most appreciated people of all. No matter what happens, they always understand. They go a million miles out of their way. They hold your hand. They bring you smiles, when a smile is exactly what you need. They listen, and they hear what is said in the spaces between the words. They care, and they let you know you're in their prayers. Special people always know the perfect thing to do. They can make your whole day just by saying something that no one else could have said. Sometimes you feel like they share with you a secret language that others can't tune into. Special people can guide you, inspire you, comfort you, and light up your life with laughter. Special people understand your moods and nurture your needs, and they lovingly know just what you're after. When your feelings come from deep inside and the need to be spoken to someone; you don't have to hide from, you share them... with special people. When good news comes, special people are the first ones you turn to, and when feelings overflow and tears need to fall, special people help you through it all. Special people bring sunlight into your life. They warm your world with their presence, whether they are far away or close by your side. Special people are gifts that bring happiness, and treasures that money can't buy. -Anonymous **********************************************I’m Proud to be a member of:Disabled American Veterans Auxillary Chapter #95- McAllen, Texas: Chaplain 2008-2009 andVFW Lifetime Auxillary Post 5518- Elk River, MN****************************

*********I LOVE ALL THE KIDS I SIT!: Ryan, Austin, Aaron, Jesse, Blake, Siena, Dylan, Ryan, Nina, Joshua, Hannah, Andrew, Zachary, Jack & Phoebe. ********************************************************'ALL CHILDREN NEED A ROOF TO KEEP OUT THE RAIN, WALLS TO SHELTER THEM FROM THE WIND, A HEARTH TO DRIVE AWAY THE COLD. THOSE ARE THE BASICS, BUT THEY ARE NOT ENOUGH. CHILDREN ALSO NEED LOVE, ORDER, LAUGHTER, AND AT LEAST ONE ADULT WHO WOULD DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING FOR THEM. AND BECAUSE CHILDREN ARE NOT BORN KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG, THEY NEED A PLACE WHERE THEY CAN BEGIN TO DEVELOP A MORAL SENSE. THEY NEED PEOPLE TO GUIDE THEM TOWARD WHAT IS RIGHT AND GOOD. HOME IS THAT PLACE. FAMILIES ARE THOSE PEOPLE......IN ONE SENSE, THE MORAL JOURNEY THAT BEGINS WITH LEAVING HOME IS THE SEARCH FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO OFFER OTHERS THE SAME NURTURING LOVE WE RECEIVED IN OUR OWN CHILDHOOD. THE BEST MEMORIES OF HOME BECOME IDEALS WE SEEK TO RE-CREATE IN OUR LIVES AND IN THE LIVES OF THE CHILDREN WE BRING INTO THE WORLD. WE START OUR OWN FAMILIES, OFFER OUR OWN LESSONS, NURTURE OUR OWN CHILDREN IN THE STRENGTH AND KNOWLEDGE WE GAINED BESIDE THE FIRST WARM HEARTH OF HOME.' - William J. I believe in the Holy Trinity- The Father, Son & the Holy Spirit.***************************************************** ****** GIRLS IN MY CIRCLE When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend, And then I started to become a woman. And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends. One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man. Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom. Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities. Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be. One friend will say, ' Let's cry together, ' Another , ' Let's fight together, ' Another , ' Let's walk away together. ' One friend will meet your spiritual need, Another your shoe fetish, Another your love for movies, Another will be with you in your season of confusion, Another will be your clarifier, Another the wind beneath your wings. But whatever their assignment in your life, On whatever the occasion, On whatever the day, Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself .. Those are your best friends. It may all be wrapped up in one woman, But for many, it's wrapped up in several.. One from 7th grade, One from high school, Several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, On some days your mother, On some days your neighbor, On others, your sisters, And on some days, your daughters. So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years, AND ONLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO, Pass this on to the women that God has placed in your life To make a difference.************************************************* ****** 'SOME PEOPLES, SUCH AS Romans, THINK OF THEIR MYTHS HISTORICALLY; THE Irish THINK OF THEIR HISTORY MYTHOLOGICALLY AND
