I am a happy fun loving guy with a good sense of humour into anything to do with Theatre, listening to all types of music, reading, dining out, beach, bush walking and gardening.I am an actor/director with over 40 years experience. Each character is a challenge which I relish. The most challenging role to date was the character of Charlie in "Stones In His Pockets" in which I played 8 characters in the two handed, two act play. We played the roles without the use of costume changes and never left the stage. It was all done with lighting, accents and characterisation. My main character, Charlie, was Irish - I also played a few Irish, one Scottish, a couple of English and an American female film star. The play won Best Drama and I was fortunate enough to win Best Actor and Best Performer of the Year. I have had the privilege to actually portray a couple of gay characters in plays in recent years. Although only a few so far hopefully there will be more to come. The more there are the more educated/enlightened society will become. Acting is my drug and I am addicted 100%.

My Interests

toI am into anything to do with acting, particularly in Theatre. I started when I was in high school and have continued for over 40 years now and I still love it. I have been fortunate enough to actually play a couple of gay characters in recent years and although these have been few at least it may be educating/enlightening society - there should be more.I love the beach and bushwalking so living here on the Gold Coast is my ideal livestyle with its proximity to both the beaches and the magnificent hinterland.Also, I am a very spiritual kind of guy.

Music:

I like most music with the exception of traditional country. Amongst my favourites would be Josh Groban, Stephen Gately, Siki Daha, Anthony Callea, Jason Stephenson, Hayley Westenra, Olivia Newton-John, Michael Crawford, Westlife, Delta Goodram, Bette Midler, Liza Minelli and the list goes on ...

Movies:

Most dramas, some action but love comedy and GOOD cartoon movies.

Television:

Hmmmm .... some, but there just isn't enough Australian shows on TV - and I don't mean game shows or reality.

Books:

I have just read Alan Alda's book and have read both Ruth Cracknell's and Michael J. Fox. Loved Da Vinci Code.

Heroes:

too many ... but I do admire people who are not only good at what they do but take a risk and do something different.
