Free the peaceful people of the world!!
Let them be!!
Walking, beachcombing, visiting cafes, galleries, rainforest walks, gardening, camping (haven't been for ages though :(...), travelling, art, craft, ideas for the home (I have way too many house magazines it's insane), ancient history, family history, some sports that I can participate in like tennis, ten pin bowling, swimming (I swim like a fish), different cultures, learning about the mechanisms of life, science, story telling, singing, attempting to make music ha!, chatting to old people down the street about anything and everything (if only I could transpose those chatting skills onto guys my own age...nah!!), playing cards or chess (rarely get to do this these days), fishing (hardly ever get to do this), just spending time in and amongst life in general, discussing health issues (it is an interest by default), just being silly, trying daring things like absailing and climbing without ropes, I love the thought of parachuting one day from a plane, riding old trains, cycling (has been too a bit long), snorkelling (that's my favourite), watching nature, sleeping, reading (trying to read more and surf less), internet I guess, motorcross, music (I think that is a given), socialising when I am in the mood, dancing, being messy, being super tidy, just hanging out in the library...oh just living basically!!
Why are so many people afraid of natural living things?
Is in all living things!
Music is healing and comes from the Heart!
Latest movies I watched were The Other Boleyn Girl (very interesting), Horton Hears a Who (Dr Suess), The Golden Compass, Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium, The Seeker (by default) and I actually really enjoyed it. I watched Stardust too, but only managed to get half way through before I was called away. Some of my favourite movies from the past: What About Bob?, Fried Green Tomatos, Lord of the Rings (not that I was impressed with the violence), Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Goonies, Joe Black, Neverending Story, A River Runs Through It (great movie!!), Good Will Hunting, Chasing Amy, Mrs Doubtfire, Silence of the Lambs, Pretty Woman, The Potato Factory, The Man from Snowy River, Titanic, A Beautiful Life, many Art House movies which I don't remember the names of, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Shirley Temple movies, The Wizard of Oz, Rebel Without a Cause, The Giant (not many James Dean movies to choose from :( ), Elvis Presley movies, Doris Day movies, Norma Jeane (Marilyn Monroe) movies, lots of black and white movies, foreign movies especially the ones from my mother's homeland, Scandinavia, and of course The Sound of Music (because it reminds me of Switzerland), Robin Hood, The First Knight. I better stop pulling out my files I am off to bed to think about some of these movies. Goodnight!! Oh I can't believe I failed to mention Disney, his early work, such a wonderful mind.
Not huge on box watching!! Really there isn't much on T.V. that I enjoy except the occasional documentary. I miss The Goodies and The Young Ones, Gilligan's Island, Gidget, The Flying Nun, Leave it to Beaver, Skippy, all the simple TV shows with all the "mistakes"...where has our perfect world disappeared to??? We are not machines, we are human beings no matter how much time effort money and energy is put into "mass producing" brainwashed "prototype" minds!
My parents are really my heroes. Heroes get bruises and cry too!! Over the years I have watched my parents do so much with so little. My Dad still amazes me with his courage and determination.
Many thanks to the Rainbow . Warriors out there for without you the planet was crying out!! Thankyou beloved friends!
Aboriginals are also heroes for holding onto what they have after all that they have been through. I really admire their ability to survive.
Everyday people that can get up the same time each day and work through their day without drugs or alcohol and still manage to pick up others along the way. There are way too many people here to mention.
People can achieve incredible feats when they believe!!
