A brief history of The Sirens... We started sometime in 2001. The Sirens now include Muffy on vocals, Miss Leann on bass, Melody Licious and Miggy Starcrunch on guitars, and Malarsh on drums. We released a single produced by the magnificent Jim Diamond of Ghetto Recorders and released on France's Wiped-Out Records in 2003 and is has since sold out. We released a second single on Wiped-Out in 2004, along with our full length debut album on Get Hip Records, both produced by the brilliant mind of Michael Ivins of the Flaming Lips. But enough about recordings, The Sirens are all about visual presentation!! Having graduated from the Coleman A. Young high educational school of verbal technology, band leader Muffy is actually a visual major. This is evident by her obvious talent for pulling off a six foot train of feathers, fringe and netting along with over a 18 inches worth of platform footware, all topped off with whatever may be lying around -- a cake perhaps. The rest of the Sirens fall in line just fine by bringing on the rock and roll -- '70s and '80s glam style (a few '60s girl group tunes notwithstanding).

My Interests

Rocking, rolling, drinking, practicing, spending shitloads after receiving the Fredrick's of Hollywood catalog, scoping out midwest bars for the tallest tallboys, shopping at the Casa de Sequins, sauntering, drinking, pointing out the beauty of Thin Lizzy's solos, discussing last weekend's numerous moments of scandal, drinking, talking about how egotistical Gene Simmons is, drafting plans for the tallest platform boots ever, thinking to ourselves "what would Noddy Holder do?", drinking, investing band money into eyelash glue stock, and making dinner at practice.
