SilentWords
Touch with your fingers the naked body of your desires.
The project is about the power of the “Body Language“.
Most of the time, bodies reveal their true intentions even more then words.
Usually people, more or less, use this power on purpose to manipulate and get what they want from others.
This project will focus on the conflict between body and brain.
On one side the brain will keep under control every basic instinct of the body and use it just like an instrument to seduce, to impose its power and its will .
While on the other side we have a body which has its own brain controlled by feelings, intution, emotion, limits and necessity .
The.way we relate to our bodies becames more and more conflictual,we are not listening anymore to it and we give it a lot of constrictions ,all this in order to predominate, became independent and be above the others.
Of course this behaviour creates insolation from ones surroundings.
However at a certain point we will start to restablish new contacts ,this is due to the fact that we know these relations are important for the human being.
The essence of these contacts enable us to share and exchange experiences of all kinds whether they be good or bad.
But we will keep this knowledge only for a short period,at which at one point we will start again to manipulate and fall into this never ending cycle.

ENGLISH VERSION
History
The “B-Light†project is an experimental work born of a collaboration between the video artist Headvision (Roberto Zitolo, Turin) and the choreographer/performer Nadessja (Nadessja Casavecchia, Novi Ligure (AL)) in the summer of 2007. Recently, the team has evolved to include the musician Eniac (Fabio Battistetti).
The Project
This project is at the nexus of three arts: the visual arts, contemporary dance and eletronic music. Using state of the art technology, the dynamic “B-Light†stage-space develops with a real-time dialogue between man and machine. “B-Light“ performances are not mere representations, but are collective and active interfaces, with each artist responding instinctually and creatively to the next. Movement becomes digital reproduction and vice versa. In this way, the performers may be guided by their own shadows.
The performance consists of 3 acts, each one characterised by different situations, choreographies, frames and processing arranged into narrative scenes. Every act will correspond to a time-line (in a representation of “past,†“present†and “futureâ€), conceived as an explorative journey through different dimensions, spaces, moments and memories.
Although there is narrative in the performance, their aim is to leave free space for improvisation. The project overcomes the limits of each modality by fostering immediate and instinctive action, whether digital or physical.
