Who am i ? It's simple: the computer ! :)
Actually, Eniac is my musical project (human- electronic); i've started in 1998 as lo-fi experimentation: a research in the well-known (samples) with the purpose of trasforming (distorsions) and re-elaborate it, a technique that eniac describes as: -something new from something who isn't. Essentially, it is a means of express our inner-selves, and to research what is known to re-evaluate old ways of thinking and feeling, in favour of new concepts. The project has evolved to a more concrete and musical structure, and today is a constantly evolving set of electro music, from melodic glitch to the explosion of rhythms.
Eniac has released the following audio material:

All these have been self-produced with a do it yourself spirit, a practice and ethics shared by eniac since the mid-90's, when he was involved in a punk rock record label (Non Ce N'è records) and in the self-production of musical fanzines (Non Ce N'è, La Mini).
Eniac it works also in cinematic plans, in 2001 he has been realized the first audio/video set: Blowed Up that is a project born from the images of an old movie, as revisited by the eye of a videocamera, on sound themes by Eniac; the movie is Blow Up (1966). Cristiano Del Mastro has collaborated on the video side. In the spring of 2005 he has participated to the event: In/Off Camera (Cafe Liber - Turin), doing a live soundtrack of two acts from the film: Berlin, Die Symphonie Einer Grossstadt (Berlin, Symphony of a Great City), Walther Ruttmann, 927; the result of this work is a dvd: a private press.
In the spring of 2005 eniac has worked on a new live set, audio / photographic, on the topic of moving by train, that is also an entire album: The Wagon, a 6 tracks record which includes a visual part (in a dvd version); at the moment isn't yet available. In the autumn, an extended play record has been produced (Ice Estate) that represents the songs, eniac played live in the last months.
Developments are always happening: searching for new approaches to the song form, while using both digital (computers) and analogic (acoustic) instruments in a flexible way, with an ethics very close to diy and open source.
Eniac had started playing live in the 1999 and is still active right now, around the dance floor and the experimental scene. Eniac's live set is usually a special show every time different and always evolving in a new form.
