About Us
MUTTNESS Records came to life in the fall of 2007. Although, first intended to serve as a simple music distribution vehicle to a close circle of friends, our venture soon grew into something more. We quickly became “Home†to a great community of inspiring Miami artists in search of talent nurturing and independent promotion.
Regardless of MUTTNESS’s fairly new existence, our catalogue has been in the making for well over a decade. During this time, our members have productively collaborated in a wide mixture of musical projects. Many of these works are readily available for downloading through MUTTNESS’s virtual online stores. Additionally, we have licensing available for each one of those tracks.
In addition to music we expanded our horizons and brought in a few dazzling visual artists into our already amazing list of collaborators. We are based in sunny Miami-Florida, where most of us met. Today, however, our mutts have spread throughout the globe. They can be found in countries like Argentina, Venezuela, and Panama as well as in the cities of Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Greenville (SC) in the U.S.
Our Mission
In conjunction with MUTTNESS MUSIC INC (our own publishing company) and MUTTNESS ART, our mission is to help independent artists offer their works to the masses by finding innovative and rewarding ways of reaching their audiences. At the same time, we hope to spread cultural awareness in many communities by recognizing local talents that might have been under their radar until now.
