About Me

I've been thinking for a while about updating my profile with some news, a lot of things happened in the last few months (and many more are still to come), which you might be interested in knowing.
Baustelle, one of the most interesting and famous Italian "popular" bands around at the moment, asked me to play a small harp part for the song Charlie fa surf, which is going to be included in their new album Amen, due to be released in January 2008. More info and a preview of the song here (no harp though!).
At the beginning of November I went to Dresden, Germany, where I performed for the dance show Hydrology by Alessandra Fabbri. I've always been interested in dance and its relationship with music. For this piece I worked as composer, harpist, percussionist and dancer (!): performing in such a multidisciplinary way was a great experience! You can find the choreographer and great girl that conceived this show at myspace.com/alefabbri
Last April I played in Milan at Soundmetak, a "vintage / collector instruments and musical objects shop" run by Xabier Iriondo, the kindest person on earth. Some videos and pics from the perfomance are available at soundmetak.com/soundmetak/live.htm
Alessandro Baronciani, long time friend, lovely illustrator and frontman of the band Altro, did a nice small video using bits of a piece (Ariadne Awakens by R.M. Schafer) played by me: youtube.com/watch?v=lfBILFR2H-s
This has been 2007. Not bad, huh? 2008 will finally see the official release of my first record, the ending of my studies and the beginning of a collaboration with the Berlin-based, super-nice Robert Lippok (member of To Rococo Rot who also played with Ludovico Einaudi during his last tours, just to name his most well known projects). The first performance should be at the Brighton Dome (UK) in May... needless to say, I'm so excited about it! Please check myspace.com/robertlippok
That's all for now. Ciao!

Scores for fingertips on tiptoe is the title of my first album, which is due to be released in the first half of 2008 on This is it, forever . It features three compositions. Two of them are contemporary music pieces: one by Raymond Murray Schafer (The Crown of Ariadne, where I play harp and percussions at the same time: sounds tricky? Well, it is), one by Bernard Andrès (Élégie pour la mort d'un berger). The final one was composed in the early 20th century by Henriette Renié (Légende). Don't be afraid by the drama-tic titles, they're really nice tunes! Judge by yourself (you can listen to some previews in the jukebox above) and let me know what you think about it.
