Debut EP "Seem Familiar?" Out November 2007

About Me

January 2007
HighWired first hit the scene in December 2006. Ever since then they have been causing somewhat of A stir in the local music scene. Big things are predicted for the Limerick five-some whos' fan base and media interest has been growing steadily around the country.
In May 2007, HighWired won the Limerick heat of "The Jack Daniels Hardest Working Band" competition [The JD Set]. The band have also supported Ireland's hardest working band, Aslan on their recent "For Some Strange Reason" Tour.
They launch their Debut EP "Seem Familar?" on the 17th of November after much anticipation and a long hard year of production and promotion.
The band play The Sugar Club, Dublin on the 21st of November with Limerick's very own Kiernan McMullan, and there are more tour dates yet to be confirmed.

"Keep an ear out for local band HighWired. Together since only December 2006, the young 5-piece have been steadily making some waves and grabbing peoples attention. Last week, they supported Irish favourites Aslan in Dolans and the INEC in Killarney and Aslan's Billy McGuiness told me during an interview this week he was hugely impressed by there attitude and work ethic. He's not the only one. In May of this year HighWired won the Limerick heat of the JD set. Expect big things, and show them a bit of support locally. Their debut EP comes out next month."
- Michelle McMahon [Limerick Post/Spin Southwest] October 07
