The Demise

On the 27th of December 2006, The Demise will release there second E.P in one year with 'Right on Time'. The Demise began writing songs together almost 2 years ago when Fabian Barrett, Kieran Hayes and Mike Nolan got together and once the songs came together and they started gigging everything clicked. Since the bands formation they have played upwards to 100 shows around the country and shared the stage with many great bands both local and international. In December 2005 the band released their first E.p entitled 'What We Leave Behind'.Since that release the band have gigged steadily while continuing to progress and write new songs even recording a version of 'Right on Time' for the Blast:Beat 4 compilation which reached no.16 in the national compilation charts, what a feat. In the meantime the band playing in the final of two competions in the Blast:Beat and Revelation Competitions.During summer 2006, the band decided to record some new songs which turned out to be the 3 songs on the new E.P. In December, it was decided that more could be added to the band so the devilishly handsome James Nestor (of Not Important fame) was recruited to play second guitar and everything instantly clicked again.2007 will see the band move forward with a bigger sound and bigger ambitions. The near future will see gigs abroad in Germany, Holland, the UK and beyond and new songs and new recordings will be produced for a full length album penned down for autumn 2007.Let the good times Rock n Roll Woop Woop
