Shane Higgens and Dessie Magee played together in a young band that unfortunately didn't turn out the way they hoped and so broke up. The two start ed with each other written songs and trying to plan the future. Eventually they went in search of a singer and found the out going Collie Clerkin the line-up was almost complete apart from a bassist after a long and hard search Conner McGowan came to mind and only lived a short walk from Shane. The whole band came together for the first in Longstone in Dessie's cottage where they would spend a lot of their time practising. At once it clicked (with the help of Anthrax being played in the background) and the band were written new songs and learning covers like "where is my mind?" by the Pixies which was the first song the band ever learned together. The ext thing the band decided was the name that they would go by and after a while the name Angelchambers was floating and eventually suck with the band. Within a couple of months the band were ready for the first gig and with the help of the nicest-man-in-rock Darren Matthews, that opportunity came. In August 2005 Angelchambers played a packed out magnet centre LOL. The gigs continued nearly every week from then on playing in Warrenpoint, Newcastle, Newry and Downpatrick. The band then decided to record their first demo. the demo only took one day recording and cost only £100. On the demo their were three songs Another Level, Elders touch and God's Gift. when the demo was finally finished the band were not satisfied with the sound quality of the demo. They started to play gigs and instead of drinking the money they were paid they saved and are hoping to get their new songs recorded before the summer.
