The Sick Dastardlys started in 2002 under the name Glen UK in Holyhead, Anglesey. Blending elements of New school and Old school punk with a touch of their own style.
The band spent a couple of years writing, recording and gigging around the local scene, and in 2004 did two tours around Wales. Ending up in the Kerrang gig guide … and no one is quite sure how. 2005 saw the band record a live session for Adam Walton’s radio Wales show. With even more live shows and writing.
In 2006, the band had a sudden realisation of what a shit name Glen UK was, and changed it to 'The Sick Dastardlys', and with an army of past drummers out to kill them, ran away to Wrexham, which is where they are based now,
