About Me

Born and raised in Georgia, I now live in Michigan. I love the snow. When I'm not at work, I'm either curled up on the couch with a book or doing whatever on the computer. Having cold weather eight months out of the year makes that all possible. :) ---- Just a note, any new "Friends" get a spot in my top 40 friends, for a little while. For those (authors, etc) who may need the exposure, I hope this helps a little bit.

My Interests

Reading mostly fiction, playing games online, puzzles (crossword and jigsaw), and playing the latest expansion of The Sims.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet my great, great, grandparents. They were suppose to have been full-blooded Cherokee. I don't even know their names. The Cherokee line has been filtered down so much, all I have left are the high cheek bones. ---------------- I would say that I'd like to meet all the authors that I've ever read and loved. But I've met a couple and I usually get extremely tongue-tied. I smile and thrust the book in front of them. Then "thank you" is about all I can say after they've signed it. So to all the authors that I may meet in the future, "I love your work! And I think you are totally brilliant and awesome!" ... oh yea, and "Thank you for providing me with much needed fiction".

Music:

A little bit of everything. Depends on the mood.

Movies:

I like action, sci-fi, horror (but not too gory), animation, and normal comedy.

Television:

Heroes, Criminal Minds, CSI, Smallville, Numbers, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka (if it ever comes back), Ninja Warrior, the Ani-Monday shows, etc.

Books:

Give me a book and I'll be happy. I enjoy most fiction genre's. This depends on my mood, also. When I find a book with a great set of characters, I will read all of them that I can find. Then I will move on to another set of books.

Heroes:

All the people who are fighting and/or have fought to keep us a free nation.

Curious about something...

I find it quite baffling to go to an author's MySpace page and be told that I can't look at a profile unless I'm a friend. So, then I request being a friend, and I get told I can't be a friend unless ...

Dehydration is not a laughing matter.

My husband started getting sick on Wednesday. Some sort of flu. I spent the day Thursday running around shopping for broth, jello, etc. We had hoped that it was just a twenty-four hour thing. And...

Authors Ive Enjoyed - Part 6 (Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb)
