About Me

Hi! Do you love the Regency era as much as I do? Then you've come by the right place. My latest book, Tempted by the Night , continues my paranormal Regency historical series involving a magic ring. Ever made a wish and wondered what would happen if it just came true? Well, this series (starting with His Mistress by Morning ) is for you. Perhaps you like your historical romances just like that--historical-- I might suggest you try my Bachelor Chronicles series, especially if you love stories about matchmaking and the mayhem that ensues when a trio of girls start making matches on unsuspecting couples. (start with This Rake of Mine or Love Letters from a Duke ). If spies and rakes are more to your taste, I suggest my Danvers series. Drop by my website for excerpts and footnotes -- my way of letting you peek inside and behind the stories you love to read.
Since 1996 when I sold my first book, I've had lots of dreams come true, including winning the RWA RITA award (the Oscars of romance novels) and last fall, Love Letters from A Duke make the NY Times Extended Bestseller list. Some of my favorite moments have been meeting some of my heroes, including Nora Roberts, Julia Quinn, and so many others, it is hard to list them all.
Visit my author website, ElizabethBoyle.com to get all the scoop on my books, blog and goings on.

Since I write Regency set historicals this means I get to spend most of my time day dreaming about Mr. Darcy! I'm also a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America, which might mean that I am either a) really geeky or b)believe that one day the aforementioned Mr. D will show up at one of the meetings.

Besides being a writer, I am also a mom--with two wonderful boys, one of whom has autism. I share this because I hope that the more people know about autism the more they will support research into this heart-wrenching disease. Please, if you know someone whose child has autism, reach out to them today and offer them your love, support and understanding--maybe even just a few hours of babysitting--you don't know how much this will mean to them.

I've lived all my life in the Pacific Northwest, love the rain, green trees, the smell of salt water. Next to that, I love knitting and traveling.

On Knittting:
I am a voracious knitter. I'm on Ravelry as Elizbo, and have a knitting blog, Knit the Stash . My latest project? Curiously Clever Clogs. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment, but gosh are these things, well, clever! Do you knit? Oh, do tell me all about your latest project--I love seeing what other people are making.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Knitters, readers, librarians, and booksellers from all over! Did you know my books have been published in multiple languages, including French, Italian, German, Russian, Norwegian, and Romanian (coming soon in Dutch and Japanese!) and that my blog has been visited by readers and fans from over 84 countries, proving that everyone loves a happy ending, don't you?!
