I Know Right From Wrong, Why Doesn't My Government?

About Me

Okay...Here is what is new... I am asking that you consider signing the petition for Jeff Wood, and not just for Jeff but his whole family. Just click on the banner!
I know there are many facing execution, but this mans sister has reached out to me for help, just as I may need to reach out someday.
Signing a petition costs nothing but a few moments of time. There is more that you can do such as a follow up letter. Read more at; http://bretthartmann.proboards107.com/index.cgi?board=texas& amp;action=display&thread=378&page=1

I grew up in Wisconsin and lived in Milwaukee, Madison, Taycheedah, Mount Horeb, Mazomainee, just to name a few of the cities. I spent some of my pre-teen summers in Akron, Ohio. A beautiful area, love the changing of the leaves! I've also lived in California and spent many, many years on the La Jolla Indian Reservation, where I also worked at the water park there...getting paid to have fun. When I moved off of the rez, I didn't go far. Lived in Warner Springs, and worked at Warner Springs Ranch...miss that hot spring water. Ended up in Arizona due to a motorcycle accident, (2002 and my own damn fault) stayed to care for my father, who has since passed. Now living in hot as hell Mesa, Arizona, near my boys...I wouldn't miss this "grandchildren time" for anything! Family means everything to me and I have little time for anything else. We are a very typical family in spite of what has happend to my brother Brett. http://my.opera.com/thinkinkmesaaz/ That's it in a nutshell for now...may add more later. Oh...please note...I try to change up my top friend list, there is no real top... I'd also like to give a big shout out to all of my grand children's teachers. They are under paid, I am sure, but not under appreciated!

Please consider contributing to Brett's defense fund, even if it is only a dollar or two. Every little bit will help towards the estimate we received from investigator, Paul Ciolino. Please note; Inmates are not allowed to have bank accounts. They are allowed to have defense funds set up in their name, which are then closely monitored. Please send donations to;

Why we are asking for the above help. __________________ Many people are under the impression that the state pays for investigating. This is only true if and when Brett is granted a new trial. What is allotted to the defense is not comparable to what is available to the prosecution. Until then, the cost of investigating and copying court records, which is greatly needed, falls on the family. Brett's case has never been investigated from a defense point.
