Laguna Art Museum represents the core California art scene. It places the aesthetics of the west coast within a national and international context and develops scholarship on the art history of California. Laguna Art Museum works from a tradition going back to the founding of the Laguna Beach Art Association nearly ninety years ago.
The Museum's mix of historical and contemporary exhibitions are augmented by a smattering of "pop culture" shows dealing with areas such as surfing, cars, and tattooing. The Museum is located right on the Pacific Coast Highway and is about 300 feet from the ocean; making it one of the most spectacular and impressive locations of any museum.

The Laguna Art Museum is located just steps from the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Beach - one of Southern California’s oldest art colonies - a short stroll from the beach, downtown boutiques and galleries, and world-class restaurants. Museum visitors can enjoy continuously changing exhibitions of works by historical, contemporary, and emerging artists and browse through the Museum Store and Art Rental and Sales Gallery. Docent-led tours, free with Museum admission, are offered daily at 2:00 p.m. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
Opening Hours and Admission
Laguna Art Museum is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days.

Children under 12 are admitted free.
