About Me

Welcome!

The Sunnyvale Art Club is a non-profit organization providing education, recognition, exhibition opportunities, and social occasions for a large group of artists living and painting in the general Sunnyvale area.

Artists of all levels are welcome and can benefit greatly from the programs, demonstrations, art competitions, gallery shows, group exhibitions, and advice from fellow artists in our friendly and supportive group.

The Sunnyvale Art Club was founded in 1959 under the name "Community Arts & Crafts" by Mrs. Emma Swails. The original charter stated the following: "May all our creative arts be given equal consideration, and may all our members share equal rights."

We are a group of very friendly people who make our Club a fun place to be. Each of us tries to introduce new members to all of our activities and events, and make everyone feel comfortable. All of the officers are ready and willing to help at any time. Sign up and enjoy the fun!

At our meetings we have art contests, demonstration given by artists in many different mediums, and we offer refreshments.

For further information, check out our regular website at: www.sunnyvaleartclub.net
