Melpomene's Music represents the female voices of the dark music scene of Metal, Gothic, Progressive Rock, Industrial, Black Metal, Death Metal, Operatic Metal, Electronica, Hardcore, Punk, Alternative, Psychedelic, Rock, Thrash, Folk Metal, Dark Ambient, and any music Tragic and StrangeMelpomene, whose name means to sing, is the Greek muse of tragedy and is often represented holding a tragic mask in one hand, and a knife in the other. She wears a crown of cypress and the cothurnus boots often worn by tragic actors. She is daughter of Zeus and mother to the Sirenes.
