Power / Progressive / Classical / Heavy Metal Band

About Me

Moondive is a progressive power gothic metal band from Belgrade. Marko (guitar), Smiljka (Vocal) and Ivan (bass) established Moondive 2001, and with the rest of the crew – Vladimir (Keyboard) and Kole (Drums) began the realization of their first album.
The members of Moondive had a promotion of their ideas on Radio 202, in a show called Demo Express, where they had it going with the song Let one go. They were on the top of the charts for a period of six weeks and more.
They played at a most famous rock festival in Serbia, Gitarijada in Zaje..ar, where they won first place in the contest by votes of the audience.
Moondive’s first album was released in December 2003 for publishing company Rock Express. The album was named Dive with me. Teamed like that, Moondive begins a concert tour and in a little while becomes the very popular heavy metal band in SCG.
Moondive performed in many big concerts:- Birthday concerts of the major rock radio Belgrade 202 on main Belgrade square - Two biggest Serbian Guitar Festivals in Zajecar (2002, 2003) - Exit fest (metal hammer stage) - Hard'n'Heavy Festivals in Belgrade. - In many places along Serbia: Novi Sad, Valjevo, Subotica, Sremska Mitrovica, Celarevo, Senta, Pozarevac…
In September, the video for the song Dive with me is released. Some time later, big changes occurred in the band, with new members joining: Anita (vocal), Matija (keyboard), and Bosko (drums).
Currently, the Moondive write songs for the new album.

Jordan Rudess review about one of our song !

This is a wonderful theme and variations. It begins in a very neo classical type context. Just when you think you have heard the whole idea, keyboard breaks into a rockin blues version of the tune. ...
