French born poet and singer, Mystic Man, decides one day to go to Cameroon, Africa for several years where he learns "Douala" one of the 250 dialects spoken there. After performing in many concerts with various bands in Central Africa, he decides to combine all these different forms of music.
Mystic Man returns to France enriched by his African experience where he forms a band by the name of KCK and then starts a successful solo career.From 2001 to 2006 he was a guest on several TV and radio shows and recorded a CD single at Juno Studios, Paris with Etienne Mbappé, Mokhtar Samba and Mario Canonge.
He has given over 300 concerts and performed as a warm-up band for
Tiken Jah Fakoly, The Gladiators, Buju Banton, Yannick Noah, Manu Dibango, Jamaica all star…Accompanied by talented musicians, he explores a repertoire that is mainly reggae but tinged with a strong African influence. His texts reach out and touch his audiences which are growing larger and larger.
