About Me

Paperlate can be heard on BRTO Radio at Bergen op Zoom every sunday-evening from 20.00 - 22.00 p.m. C.E.T. We're concentrating on progressive rock from the past, present and the future. We started back in 1995 and a lost of artists visited our show since then to play live or to chat, others did interviews by phone: Richard Sinclair,Colin Bass, John Wetton, Focus, Kayak, Alquin, Rick van der Linden, Ayreon, Peter Vink, Wally Tax, Marillion, Supersister, Uriah Heep, Andy Latimer, Martin Orford, Arena, Solution, Daevid Allen, Kevin Ayers, etc.We also support new bands with ariplay. Recently we payed attention to Jebo, Black Noodle Project and Adib. Years ago we invited a new unknown band from the UK to play live in our show. It was for the first time the band played outside the UK. Now they are one of the greatest: Mostly Autumn.

AndrÃ© has a long history as DJ for several radiostations, he's also an enourmous fan of progressive rock since the late 60's Check out the Paperlate homepage for more details. JAN FRANKEN: main technician. Jan has works for several radiostations and has a long list of radiostations (both legal and illigal!) he worked for. for details look at www.janfranken.nl THEO HUBERTS: webmaster for www.paperlate.nl Theo is also the keyboardplayer from the band Nice Try www.nicetry.nl He was the founder of the radioshow BOZpop www.bozpop.nl and nederpopclassics.nl (AndrÃ© and Jan are also involved ) He recorded a fine album with music from Camel just for his friends and family. Alumni: Louis Rentrop (our first webmaster), Helmuth van Loon, Michel Oerlemand, Jan Willem Dolsma, Jos Foekema, Arno Schrauwen (all technicians)
