THE BLUES FESTIVAL GUIDE IS CELEBRATING ITS
5TH ANNIVERSARY!
We are having more fun with the Blues Festival Guide and this website, and especially working with the Blues Societies across the nation! We encourage you to become a member, or start a Blues Society in your area... there is power in numbers and we all have to work together to keep America's original roots music in the forefront of our culture. Our founder's background is in magazine publishing and she produced festival programs before the Reggae Festival Guide magazine was launched in 1995. In 2003 we published our first issue of the Blues Festival Guide magazine. In 2006 the BFG team were the proud recipients of the Blues Foundation's Keeping The Blues Alive award (KBA) for "Print Media" as well as the West Coast Hall of Fame award for print media.
