Vinyl-that spinning symbol of music's joy!--WP

About Me

Born and raised in St. Louis, I have been a music lover from birth. I got exposed to hip hop at an early age and immediately identified with the role of the DJ. I had my pop's floor model stereo with a phonograph (couldn't quite call it a turntable) and a one speaker tape deck, trying to blend records with the tape!?! Hey we all start from somewhere right? Hip Hop is my first love which helped me to branch out to R&B, reggae, house, afrikan music, jazz, rock, bossa nova, salsa, funk, blues and political awareness. I'm growing in my skill of Afrikan drumming and dance as well as some instrument making. I also participate in a variety of community activities and events. Its part of our culture y'all and we need to reclaim and restore it before we lose it. So its about time I share my love for music with the rest of the world and maybe you'll share yours with me. Peace and power to all the real revolutionaries out there! You know who you are...........or do you? I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
