Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

Ryka Ali is a very proud ambassador for Australia’s Indigenous youth. Ryka continues to explore new sounds with the didgeridoo, which is one of the world’s oldest woodwind instruments. Ryka’s speciality is performing Australian native animal sounds together with modern sounds along with the sounds of a dj/beat-boxing. Ryka was one of the winners in the Young, Black and Deadly Talent Quest (2003) leading up to a performance at the Sydney Opera House. Ryka’s other performances includes IYP (International Youth Parliament), Yaban Indigenous Concert (2004) and the World Expo in Aichi, Japan (2005). He has performed extensively in Australia and shared his indigenous cultures in New Zealand, Japan and the USA. Ryka has just released a self-titled CD featuring hip-hop/urban sounds combined with the didgeridoo. Ryka is the lead dancer & didgeridoo player for InDidgDance - Australian Indigenous Cultural Performers.
