Who is J-Dash-P:
Ok, well I've just spent the last week recording some new material for my first E.P. which will be titled "Song Whisperer" & I've just put up a demo for one of the songs that will be featured on the E.P. I've called "So Beautiful". Leave some feedback if you please, over the coming weeks I'll be putting some more tracks up as they come.
Thanks to the Indigital Centre, Capz of Alter Egoz, Tjimba mob, u mob too deadly cuggie, & of course thank you to those who have inspired this project to come into fruition.
My god it's been a long road to just get this far, & now I'm here at the first glances of my first solo album (10 years later lol) I'm just so glad I didn't give up over the years & the wait was well worth it & I feel as thought the material does justice for the genre of R'nb as a whole & I hope this to be the beginning of something that will grow through the coming years...
Thank you very much, Jaiya Urban-Pryor....
J-Dash-P as an R'nb Artist; I'm an R'nb artist with a Hip-Hop background, actually, you could probably say I'm more Hip-Hop than R'nb, so I incorporate the philosophy of Hip-Hop when I look at writing R'nb. So why R'nb? My belief is, if I want to reach more Audiences & deliberate what I have to say with clarity, so people hear my every word, then R'nb is a more competant medium for me to utilise.Aboriginal history consisted of a culture that was based on Storytelling, since there were no literary mediums such as books to pass down. The importance of telling the story correctly so that every element was taken into consideration was very important.. So this is why I use R'nb. To tell the story so that everyone can understand the message, correctly.
Just a little philosophy I felt compelled to share with you, the reader. In regards to my Ancestors & all those who respect the true essence of Hip-Hop which is Universal, 1, I'm out!

These Song's are merely a rough copy & is in no way the true representation of the finished product... This track will be released on my upcoming E.P. yet to be titled.
Enjoy!!!!
I am also the founder of The Brotha-Boy family which is now Called Brotha-Boyz Forever AKA U-Mobs (Us Mobs). The movement I had formed in 2002 was an attempt to unify rival hip-hop groups in & around Central Australia which has had some set backs but are in effect that will bring U-Mobs under a New leaf of development... The initial move was inspired by K-Rino of the South Park Coalition who had made a similar achievement in 1989 by bringing surrounding Hip-Hop crews under One Banner..
Brotha-Boyz Forever!!!!!! Still undaground 07
