We as in Delbert McKinnon (Dell Mack), Dannie O'Rielly and my self Doc Walker and all the rest of the musicians that come in. Between use we have over 330 yrs of music experience. Del has recorded with Sam Phillips of Sun Records in Memphis yes the one and only also with Goldband Records. (Quote from remembering Eddie Shuler Http://bluesworld.com/Eddieshuler.html) Through out the 60's reliable hit-making Goldband artists abounded, including C&W figures Leon Ashley, Jay Stutes, Claude Shermack, Dell Mack, and Jo-el Sonnier, billed as the "Cajun Valatino". In the Cajun realm were a string of winner's by Vorris" Shorty" LeBlanc, the Hackberry Ramblers' " Cajun Pogo" (1143) in 1963, and Hobo Bertram in 1966 with his "Starvation Waltz" (1163). About mid-decade not only had future Zydeco celebrity "Count" Rockin' Sidney joined Goldband for an extended stay but also Wilson "Boozoo" Chavis had returned with a flourish, issuing the novelty instrumental "Hamburgers & Popcorn" (1161). Also in the 60's Eddie had created yet another auxiliary label, ANLA, which was largely devoted to soul of the region which slowly supplanting blues as the music of choice in the afro-American community. And some of the charter members of this logo include Chester Randle, Bill Parker, Clifton White, Big Daddy Green, and the Soul Senders. (END QUOTE). Del also played with the 7 form 11 band in Memphis TN. . Dannie played Bass for Jose Feliciano a short time on the road when he was only 19 yrs. old, then went to work with Bust'er Hymen an R&B/southern rock band. He played with people like Tagg Lambert, Texas Playboy's, Texas Saddletramps, and Julie Bailey (of Urban Cowboy fame)and The Texas Gems. As you can tell, Dannie is from Texas. That's when he moved here to Missouri and went to work for Dell Mack. That was in the early 80"s. Playing with Del, Dannie got a chance to play with people like rockabilly hall of famer Al (Caveman) Vance, Butch Biggs, Rick Waters, AKA (Randy Holmes,) Kenny Wayne, Harry Martin, Charlie DeClue, Kent Burger, Ted Tyson. Then he went nuts and....... went back to Texas and played with people like Noel Beene and The Hole in One Band. Then he came back to his senses, came back to Misery and went to work with Kricket Alley. While playing with them Dannie has played with musicians such as Against The Grain, Ray Carson, Nathen Kinkead, Dell Mack, __hit House Boys, The Devils Elbow Symphony and The Bigalow Brothers Band. Dannie, Dell and I all played with The Devil Elbow Symphony. Other members of Devil Elbow Symphony are Harry Martin, John Evans, Roger Ogle, Steve Robinson, Mike Wilkins. Kelvin Shrieves started out playing with Brett Alvino, Mike Haney, in the band with no name. after that he started to play with a local band called Flashback which include Calvin Bowling, Andy Bowling, Ted Tyson, Dale Peterson, John Dickerson,. They opened for many bands such as Firehouse, Blackfoot, Headeast, over a ten year period. They did many gigs on Ft. Leonard Wood for the troops. From there Kelvin went to work with The Sterling Rose Band. Members of this band are Kelvin Shrieves Jr., Shawn Wilkey, Darell (Bear) Wallace. After that Kelvin Came to work with us at the studio and is now a member of the __hit House Boys. Dannie now plays Guitar and Vocals and I do the sound for Kricket Alley, whom we have also recorded many times and have written a few songs for them. We have many great musicians that come in here like Kelvin Shrieves SR. and Kevin JR., John Evans, Dale (Disco) Peterson, plus Dannie, Del & Myself who make up the _Hit House Boys,Ted and Shellie Tyson, Ray Carson,(Nitro) Nathen Kinkead, as said before Kricket Alley and many more.
