Carlos Ferrari (L Hermite)

Nacido el 25 de Junio de 1967, comenzó a tocar la guitarra a la edad de 14 en forma casi autodidacta, ayudado por una prima que le enseñó los primeros acordes y canciones. A los quince años, comienza a tocar la guitarra eléctrica, tomando lecciones con diferentes profesores, y forma su primer banda con la que debuta en septiembre de 1983, a la edad de dieciseis. A partir de allí comienza a formar parte de diferentes agrupaciones de diferentes géneros, desde heavy metal a pop-rock, influenciado por guitarristas del hard rock de los ochenta, tales como George Lynch, Jake E. Lee y Steve Vai, entre otros. Desde 1990 se dedica a dar lecciones de guitarra y como músico sesionista para diferentes proyectos. También dirige L Hermite, su proyecto mayormente instrumental con el que grabó un EP con cuatro temas instrumentales y un cd con nueve temas, dos de los cuales son cantados, y en el cual Beto Vázquez participa como invitado. Su vinculación con Beto Vázquez se dio a mediados del 2004 y fue invitado a participar en cuatro de los temas que forman parte de “Flying To A New Horizon”, el tercer disco de B.V.I. , colaborando en la composición de uno de los temas.****************************************************** **************He was borned a 25th of June in the year 1967. He started playing the guitar, mainly self- taught, at the age of fourteen, and with some help of his cousin he learned the his first chords and songs. When he was fifteen he started playing the electric guitar, taking lessons with different teachers, and also he forms his first band, the band he played with in his first debut, in September 1983, at the age of sixteen. From there on, he takes part of different bands of different genres (from heavy metal to pop-rock), influenced by hard rock 80’s guitarists, such as, George Lynch, Jack E. Lee and Steve Vai, among others. Since 1990 he dedicates to teach guitar lessons and also he compose music for different projects. He produces L’Hermite, his instrumental scheme in which he recorded an EP with four instrumental tracks plus a CD with nine tracks (two of them where singed, and guested by Beto Vázquez and other guest musicians,such as bassists Marcelo Napolitano and César García, Daniel Endler on sax, and the vocalists Diana Huarte and Rafael Díaz Mallea.). His relationship with Beto Vázquez began about the middle of 2004 and he was invited to take part on four of the tracks of “Flying to a New Horizon”, the B.V.I.’s third CD, collaborating in the composition of one track.
