Hey!! My name is Karli Whetstone and I am a 23 year-old country singer from Ohio! I have been living in Nashville for over two years to further pursue my dream of getting a record deal. I love living in Nashville. It is such a great place, and the people are wonderful! It felt like home almost instantly. I just recently finished my first album!! It is a great reflection of who I am and what I believe in. I can’t wait to hear what you think about it! I have always wanted to be a singer. I started singing when I was four and dancing when I was three!! My sister Krystie was actually my dance teacher!! I would like to say I was the ideal student, but I really wasn’t. My first love was always music, but dance was definitely a close second!! My first time on stage I was three, and my first live performance singing was at a club when I was 14! I have been performing for a long time, so one of my favorite parts about being a singer is the live shows! There is nothing like being in front of an audience! The music business is very difficult, but luckily I am very strong-willed, so I’m not one to give up easily! Something you may be surprised to know about me is I love football, and I know more about football than I ever dreamed I would. I am a huge Ohio State fan!! GO BUCKS!! I haven’t missed seeing a game in over six years!! I have recently become an Atlanta Falcon Fan!!! My husband was just drafted to the team last year!! I was use to wearing Scarlet and Gray, so Red and Black is great!! I also enjoy horseback riding!! I love horses they are such amazing animals. However, my favorite animal in the world is my dog Windsor!! He is a Maltese, and completely spoiled-rotten! I love high heels!! They are the Best! I love to travel and have fun! I don’t think you can ever laugh enough! I love history!! It completely fascinates me. I love to learn, and with history you are constantly learning. That is one of the things I love most about country music, love of its history and the importance of honoring its roots. Also, I love to meet new people, especially new fans! I of course love to shop!! My favorite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy, 24, Sex and the City, and Oprah! A few things I don’t like are bananas, traffic jams, spiders, and snakes! If I could meet anyone, I would want to meet Garth Brooks. He is one of my idols, along with Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Patsy Cline and George Strait!
