Beto Vazquez Infinity

Desde hace tiempo, el bajista y compositor argentino Beto Vázquez (líder y fundador del extinto Nepal) continuaba ampliando sus horizontes musicales, siempre acumulando nuevas ideas. Esta nueva etapa creativa emplea composiciones muy variadas en lo que a estilos se refiere, saliendo de los parámetros de composición que entregara en los últimos años junto a su ex banda (Nepal).
En septiembre de 1999 termina de componer lo que sería un demo, el cual es escuchado por el sello Nems Enterprises, que inmediatamente le propone un contrato discográfico.
En su primer trabajo “Beto Vazquez Infinity” (Idem) (2001) participaron: Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Vision Divine, Athena), Candice Night (Blackmore's Night), Tarja Turunen (EX Nightwish), Sabine Edelsbacher (Edenbridge) y Jörg Michael (Stratovarius).
Todos los temas fueron creados por Beto Vázquez y ejecutados por la banda. De esta manera, haciéndose cargo de la composición, de la dirección musical, de los arreglos; y tocando el bajo de cuatro y cinco cuerdas, acústico y eléctrico, guitarra acústica y teclados, Vázquez logra expandir su potencial como músico y darle forma a un nuevo proyecto.
En Abril del 2002 participan en España en el festival Viña Rock 2002 donde participan bandas de la talla de Baron Rojo, Shaman, Angeles del Infierno y Dark Moor entre otras. Dada las condiciones, la banda viaja y da su primer show internacional.
En Diciembre se decide sacar "Wizard"; un EP con rarezas del primer CD. El EP contiene 8 temas mas un Track con el primer Video Clip basado en el tema "Wizard" y este justamente es el que le da nombre al mismo.
En Diciembre también se edita "The Keepers of Jericho - Part II". En esta segunda parte del tributo a Helloween Beto Vazquez Infinity participa aportando una versión de "A Tale That Wasn´t Right".
En Junio de 2004 la banda participa en el tributo a Black Sabbath Sabbath Crosses con el tema Die Young, editado por Black Star C.
En los meses de julio y noviembre la banda en sus conciertos presenta su nuevo material en vivo
En julio de 2005, la banda graba el tema A Tout le Monde, de Megadeth, para el disco tributo Hangar de Almas, a editarse por el sello 2M producciones.
En Abril de 2006 la banda es invitada a participar del primer festival Iberoamericano, junto a Tierra Santa (España)
En junio terminan de grabar “Flying towards the new horizon” su tercer Cd editado por su propio sello: BVM (Beto Vazquez Music), el lanzamiento del mismo fue en Noviembre de 2006.
Actualmente la banda se encuentra ensayando para futuras presentaciones tanto en argentina como como en el resto del mundo y grabando "DARKMIND"...su proximo cd full para 2008
Beto Vazquez Infinity es un proyecto hecho con seriedad y respeto hacia la gente, los músicos y a la música en general.

For some time, the Argentinean bass player and songwriter Beto Vázquez (leader and founder of the extinct band Nepal), continued enlarging his musical horizons, always accumulating new ideas, and with the hope of finally making a group of musicians that could fulfill and understand what he really wanted to transmit. This new creative stage in Beto's careeer uses very varied compositions in what refers to styles, leaving behind the songwriting parameters that he surrendered in the last years next to his former band (Nepal).

In September of 1999, he finished to compose what would be a demo, which was listened by the record label Nems Enterprises, who immediately offered him a record deal. Vázquez would have the hard task now of finding musicians that were adjusted to the high standards that the project demanded. The company also suggested him that the album could be sang in English by voices of international fame, making it easy for the album to be released worldwide. Without a doubt, a great challenge for an Argentinean musician; difficult but not impossible...

All the songs were created by Beto Vázquez and performed by the band. This way, in charge of the songwriting, the musical direction, the arrangements; and playing four & five strings bass, acoustic and electric, acoustic and electric guitar, Vázquez was able to expand his potential as a musician and give shape to a new project based on his personal music favorites (Pink Floyd, Rhapsody, Helloween, Skyclad, Porcupine Tree, Moonspell, Blackmore's Night, In Flames, etc).
On the first album the guests was:
Tarja Turunem (ex NW), Candice Nigth (Blackmore´s Night), Sabine Eldesbacher (Edenbridge) and Fabio Leone (Rhapsody).

In April, 2002 the tour producer José Luis Botto poposed Beto to take the band on tour and play in Spain, in a fest where bands such as Barón Rojo, Shaman, Ángeles del Infierno and Dark Moor among others would take part. Therefore, the band travelled to Spain and gave their first international show there. The audience showed great approval, and the musicians claim to have really enjoyed that experience.
Beto Vazquez Infinity played as support with bands like:
Nightwish, Labyrinth, Vision Divine, Angra, Tierra Santa and others.
The band was on this tributes:

“Sabbath Crosses” with the song Die Young, released by Black Star C.
“A tribute to Priest” with the song Freewhell Burning.
“Hangar de Almas” with the song A Tout le Monde (Megadeth), released by 2M producciones.
In noviembre 2006 release the second full album:
“Flying towards the new horizon” by the record BVM Records, and the guests was:
Antti Railio (Celesty) Finland, Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere) Italy, Sonia Pineault ( Forgotten Tales) Canada, Quinn Weng ( Seraphim) Taiwan., Nahor Andrade (Dynasty) Brazil.
