Love Gone Cold

Bluegrass? In Austin? Novel, huh?

About Me

[email protected]
Haven't you all had enough of all the jamgrass, new tyme, jazzyocoustic, fake jugband crap goin on in modern traditional music. Well we have.
Love Gone Cold is a hard drivin' string band drawning its inspiration from the classics of early country, old time and bluegrass. With an emphasis on harmony singin and hard pickin, we try to break out of the idea that the old styles can be made better by adding more chords, more notes and makin'em all pretty. Give us Big Mon any day.
"Sounds like a damn good time!"-Wayne Hancock
"These guys are great. Go see 'em!"-Charlie Prichard
"It's refreshing to see a band donning their finest threads on stage, and even moreso, it's sweet to hear a true blue grass band here when the genre has taken a back seat to new grass. My friends, Love Gone Cold is True blue."-Doug Strahan of the Moon Hangers/Chili Cold Blood
"We love this band. Bluegrass picking so hard it will make your ears bleed, and you'll sit there blood soaked, enjoying every minute of it!"-American Graveyard
"Love Gone Cold brings true enthusiasm, raw energy, contagious excitement and great musicianship anytime they play. Their sound and style is a refreshing reminder of what is so good and pure about truly great blue grass music. We can’t get enough of them. “ -Deb Fleming & Steve Dean, Owners, The Oaks, Austin, TX
