Celtic Society of Western Colorado

About Me

I have been in Western Colorado since early 1996.
From 1996-2001 the Celtic Society held a Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
We are still active, albeit without the large festival. We hold an annual Saint Patrick's day dinner, Fruita Concert in the park series typically the last August slot, Christmas Party, Robert Burns Dinner.
If you would like to find out what and when we are doing, check this space time and again. Events and whatnot will be posted in the blog. And perhaps in bulletins
We are often seen and heard at Parades. The site is typically one Kilted men sporting flamboyant beards and awesome waxed mustaches... The ladies look nice too, but our men tend to attire and accessorize themselves to less sensible extremes. More often than not the sound of Pipes can be heard from where we are.
Many of our members belong to the "Celtic Singers" a choral group singing Welsh, Irish and Scottish songs.
