About Me

Married, two grown-up nippers. Live in Lancashire (and why not?). Played the melodeon for more years than I care to remember at more festivals/clubs/concerts/dances than I can remember. Recordings include: "English Melodeon Players" (Vinyl); "The Big Cheese" & "Rainy Day" both with Ran Tan Band: "Heat, Light & Sound" with Eliza Carthy; and various other CDs along the way. Taking a break from festival/concert/club scene but beginning to get itchy fingers again.I play an old but good workhorse "Saltarelle" and a refined but temperamental "Eric Martin" now looking forward to delivery of a new "Bernard Loffet". Watch this space . . . Loffet now arrived - fabulous instrument.

My Blog

One careful hohner

(Non melodeon geeks look away now) Well, having been completely infatuated by the new Loffet "GeB" for the last couple of months, I've been blown sideways by the arrival of a reconditioned Hohner...

Damnation - I should've signed up to myspace music. I'll delete this page and relaunch when I've got the time and can be arsed.

inaugural blog

I really have no idea what I'm doing on myspace - it just seemed like a good idea at the time, like wearing red boots, a dinner jacket and a trilby in the 80's....
