About Me

The â€œBe The Bandâ€ project is an ideal opportunity for students studying all areas of music, video/film and art to show case their talents to the world and help raise money for a worthwhile cause
The idea behind the project is to create a virtual band with animated characters taking the place of the real band members themselves. The whole team including animators, musicians and artists will be chosen through an online audition process voted on by registered members of the website www.betheband.co.uk
The resulting single and video will go on sale online next year through the projects partnersâ€™ napster.co.uk and HMV digital. It is hoped the single will raise Â£1 million pounds for the Nordoff-Robins music therapy charity who help both children and adults with a wide range of needs including mental and physical illness, physical and sexual abuse, stress and terminal illness.
Be the Bandâ€™s initial stage â€œAssimilationâ€ Kicks off this week and is designed to get everyone registered with the site in support of the project and in preparation for the first round of auditions. This is the most crucial stage as we need to get enough students and people involved with the project to make it a success.So Click the link below and register
