Ahoy ~ HELLcome To Our LiL' Page! Portland Pyrate Punx is a non profit organization that aims to create unity and alternative resources within the underground Punk Rawk music scenes. (Crust/Grind/Thrash/D-Beat/Sludge/Punk/Metal) We want to provide a dependable and complete list of all upcoming shows at local venues, bars, record stores, houses, backyards, etc. -especially the ones that won't be listed in the Mercury or WW. We also would like people to post any info about local art shows worth checking out, and any other cool or worthwhile events and happenings in the PDX area. We also encourage people to post any news or important issues going on that are of interest to our underground scene, and utilize the community if you have needs for or know anyone offering things like rides to shows, skillshare meetings, free stuff, rentals, jobs available, or help... etc. Bands touring through that need to book a show, or need a place to stay while in town -please post it in the comment section. Knowledge, awareness and communication are the first things we need to get this chapter of the Pyrate Punx going, and we need people to join the crew, so spread the word. Eventually we want to have places to put on all ages shows for both local and touring bands, so if you know any venue spaces or places we can have live bands play please let us know.
