The Pyrate Punx are totally independent D.I.Y promoters of punk gigs in Bath, England. We are the 18th Pyrate Punx crew with chapters also in the USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany and Indonesia.
Pyrate Punx Worldwide is a collective of bands, local promoters, D.I.Y tour bookers, D.I.Y record labels and most importantly friends.
PLEASE no facist, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic bullshit. we're all about bringing people together in a safe autonomous zone- not tearing others down based on socital isms and phobias.
Bath Pyrate Punx rules of engagement for bands:
1. Please let us know if you have any unusual stage requirements in advance if possible as it makes life less hectic for our Sound Crew on the night. Also if you need to borrow any backline; the sooner we know the better.
2. All bands get paid the absolute maximum we can afford to pay them. We DO NOT deal in contracts, only trust. Guarantees can be arranged for out of town/touring bands.
3. To ensure we can pay all bands as much as possible we have a No Guest List policy at smaller gigs. For larger gigs and with prior arrangement we will run a limited guest list.
4. Riders: Food can be arranged for out of town/touring bands. We also supply Rum for the bands obviously!
5. We can arrange places to stay, just let us know if you require a "quiet place to sleep" or a "wasted, fucked up party" house.
