I am a vegetarian, I play piano and guitar, I like Pabst Blue Ribbon, playing foosball, beer cozies, riding and working on my beach cruiser, hanging out with Kai and Vella (my brindle scurvy dawgs), I like to go out and explore all of the weird, desolate, abstract industrial ruins and abandoned structures in California, and of course I like to photograph them. I've wanted to be a photographer since I was a kid, I love to travel and live by music....I listen to almost every style...but I really relate with punk and metal....mostly crust, grindcore, sludge, hardcore and deathmetal. I love seeing live music, I used to live at a house we made into a venue, down in Long Beach....so for a few years we housed and put on shows for all the touring crust, grind and underground punk bands. During that time, I got to travel a lot, and sometimes ride on tours with some amazing bands through the US. I have been doing photography since I moved to LA, and now I am taking photos at almost every show, a lot of the Bay Area show photos are still up on www.wethepunx.com, and www.pyratepunx_dangerisland.com. In 2002 I moved to the bay area, and I lived at Burnt Ramen Sudios, which was one of the best DIY music venues the Bay Area ever had. I also like to be active in the local punk scene (wherever I'm living), like working with the Bay Area Pyrate Punx, and Urban Guerilla Zine....+ many more... I like to help promote bands, and help them book shows and tours. I can offer help with presskits photos and art for their albums, and I can do very affordable photography work at live shows, recording sessions, group shots or creative album art. While living in San Luis Obispo, I started working at The Dwelling during its last months. I wanted to make sure any bands who wanted to play would have that chance, and I was hoping to keep the music scene alive and unified, and eventually strart a new music and art space for the community. Sadly, when the city ordered us to shut down, the music and drive for change died too. So I have been through hard times with many different DIY music spaces, and I have learned that it takes a lot of work and determination from many people, not just one.Now I am in Portland, Oregon and it fucking rocks here! I am in the process of getting my own photography studio down in the SE area of town. I still haven't met that many people in Portland with the same interests, so if you are a PDX local into good music, art and brew...hit me up! Cheers..

This is a documentary on my old house (and the best live music venue in the Bay Area), called "The Ramen Days", that features some of my still photography
I don't like to email people....It has been taking me a long time to respond to anybody who has written me lately. I apologize and please don't think it's personal.....I have just been unwilling to pay for internet access, so I have to depend on random neighborhood wireless networks to get online. I am finally catching up with writing people back, so please be patient with me
