into many things but my main inspiration is music. i am a bassist/producer and songwriter and have been playing electric bass professionally since age 13 ( full name Djibril Toure) - grew up in bed-stuy bklyn. began playing straight ahead jazz- and have been blessed to perform with a wide array of artists from Dizzy Gillespie, to Wu -tang (played on Iron Flag and the W), to my group the Welfare Poets, Tekitha.....the list goes on trust me. Currenly rocking with the brooklyn instrumental based MOBIUS COLLECTIVE and TIGA JEAN-BAPTISTE (TCHAKA ENSEMBLE). Just wanted to build this page to link with my music peeps.
