I started playing guitar at age 6. Quit at 14. Found my way back to my true love at 17, and haven't really looked back.
I consider myself an Audio Architech.
By day, I work with labels to help them manage their contracts and content with the various download services. If your a label or content owner, then you need to know about http://www.broadstreetdigital.com. Why surrender your digital rights to a third party?!? This is the age of DIY
By night, I've been blessed to have fallen into and out of, and back into a community of talented and giving musicians. It started with a visionary group of creatives when I joined the Black Rock Coalition in 1989. After the passing of many a moon and the arrival of Ms. Aminah James, I've been guided back into the fold of some really cool and genre bending folks. So lately, I've been playing with folks like:
Demax and the n9s: www.myspace.com/demaxmusic
Maritri Garret: www.myspace.com/maritrimusic
The Onliest: www.myspace.com/onliest
Reg Wyns: www.myspace.com/reggimentmedia
3Bean Stew: www.myspace.com/3beanstewmusic
The Marksmen: http://www.myspace.com/marksmenproductionnetwork
and the list goes on...to be able to practice a craft and know the people around you won't/don't let you fall is easily the greatest joy in playing music. Now only if I could be free to play on plantations other than my own....
