About Me
With a unique blend of styles that range from Trish's favorites such as, Etta James, Candice Night, Bonnie Raite, Contemporary Christian singers, Pam Thum, Amy Grant and Margaret Becker, Trish has a certain style all her own that unfolds in her musicSpanning over several genres that include classic blues to new age renaissance to pop, Jazz and Contemporary Christian, there is a definite quality that envelopes Trish's music to deliver it with power and soul.Music for Trish started at age 6 when she started taking piano lessons. Fighting it all the way, her Mother insisted on her continuance and after a few years, Trish realized that her Mother was right and was thankful for the opportunity to continue. From there, classical music became a very high priority as she loved the sound and the challenge of learning a minuet or sonata from Bach to Rachmaninoff and the feeling of accomplishment when it was finished. From there, Southern gospel was introduced thru church where she was very active in the youth ministry of music. Even though Southern Gospel had a wonderful message and equipped Trish with the building blocks of Christ in praise and worship, it still seemed to miss something personally that she wanted to convey in her music. Trish knew the foundation of Christian music and what it stood for would come back into play when God was ready to use her and her talents. That was accomplished when Contemporary Christian style was introduced to her.
Later on, blues and soul became an important factor in her music as she had found a way to release a lot of feelings, circumstances and experiences thru her own life in a style that she truly felt deep inside. And then came Celtic. An experience truly all it's own to her. She remembers being introduced to Blackmore's Night music, which was founded by Ritchie Blackmore who became famous in the 70's for his starting of the group Deep Purple along with other various groups. Yep, one in the same! Ritchie and his fiance, Candice Night, have taken celtic renaissance music to a newer and higher level and drastically made an impact on Trish. This lead her over into dabbling a bit with the renaissance style music and she has totally fell in love with it.
Which brings us to the present: A newfound freedom in music and a determination that doesn't want to stop, Trish has decided to go for her life long dream of devoting the rest of her life to music. With knowing how the industry is and just how difficult it is get or be heard in this day and age of music, she has started putting her own music out there on a little label she named "Dreamscape Productions". The most important thing to Trish is that people enjoy her music and that it will comfort, cheer, move, or just make people downright happy.All instruments are played by Trish herself on her works, along with writing, recording, engineering, mixing and mastering. There is a true perfection in one’s music if they are in love with what they doAlong playing keyboards with several groups and individuals over the years, Trish has also lent her voice to background projects for other bands in the past, as well as collaborating on multiple projects."There is a definite difference in the ability to play music and to draw it from your inner most being", states Trish and she as succeeded in the sense of finding her inner soul thru her styles of what she writes and performs.With a real sense of exactly how important music is to the individual musician, the artist,
the drive that completes her music is the passion for what she does.“As long as I as I am breathing, and the Lord willing, the music will never stopâ€.So please take a moment, linger around and enjoy Trish's Dreamscape page. And hopefully you will hear something you like that will touch your soul and stay within you. Songs are healing to any soul, whether we need happiness, sadness, if we're hurting, if we are hoping. Music truly is the one language for everyone to enjoy.Hello All,
Thank you for stopping by my page. It is greatly appreciated and I hope you enjoy yourself and take a listen. If I could only say one thing about my music, I guess it would have to be as follows;
"There is a true perfection in one’s music if they are in love with what they do.
It has taken a lifetime to get to where I truly enjoy the music without wondering what I am going to do with it or where it's going to take me. I realize now, that it has already taken me, back to myself and who I was meant to be".
