MyGen Profile GeneratorFreya has been playing piano/keyboards for over 19 years and is ever looking to push the limits of her playing.
Freya’s teaching methods are cutting edge – combining her knowledge gained from her own learning experience and knowledge gained from working alongside other professional musicians – such as Mark Smith, Head of Drums and Percussion at Mashu Studios and Mapex endorser.
Starting at the young age of 4 years old, she was originally classically trained to a high standard gaining qualifications in many grade exams and passing with high results.
Since graduating from the BRIT School in 2003 with distinction in a B-TEC National Diploma in Music, Freya has branched out in to more contemporary styles and has widened her knowledge of both music theory and technique. This has been helped through her position as Head of Piano/Keyboards at Mashu Studio and through her involvement in various bands and studio projects.
Freya is currently working on her own writing projects, finishing material so studio sessions can start soon.
Heavy progressive metal project Lost Planet is back and will be showcasing covers as well as original material from all members, including Freya.
Heavy rock band the Mammoth Guard, are currently looking for a vocalist - and once found, recordings will be finished and gig news will be posted.
