If performing on stage is a drug then I'm a junkie

About Me

Songs:
Late Night at the 'Easy
- I was kinda wanting to go for that lone saxophonist in a speakeasy, but I think it sounds more 30's era to me...dad was recording me when I wasn't paying attention, so it's not my best, but hopefully it will get better! I had not picked up the alto in two years, and this is where i'm at as of now, so yeah, it's not my best...or even close to it as a matter of fact, but it's better than nothing. I couldn't get to my tenor, because it was locked in the band room, but i do have a song for it, and i hope to later put it on here also.
Lovely Heart - This is a ballad on my tenor...not much really to say about it...lol...but it is a change of pace...and longer than the last. Hope you guys enjoy it!!!
At the Buzzer - This song was perfromed live at a school function and this is the first jazz solo I have EVER improvised. Hope you guys like it!
The Echo Never Fades- This song was composed by David Gillingham and this was a solo i recieved to perform and compete. It was originally wrote for alto sax, but i transposed it for the tenor
To Zanarkand- This song was featured on Final Fantasy and it was originally wrote for piano, but i decided to play it on the flute.
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------Danielle Hunnicutt was born on Feb. 19th 1991 in the middle of what she likes to call "cornfield county", where agriculture and sports get sponsored, and Jazz and Blues are considered curse words. She has never taken a lesson outside of a school room, and has been credited for playing many years over her young age of 16. She has a great deal of potential, but no room to grow.
At the age of four, her grandmother sat her down at her first instrument, the piano. She began singing and playing in churches by the age of five and has loved the microphone and stage ever since.
When Danielle entered the fifth grade she decided to play the alto saxophone. By the sixth grade, her father started to teach her how to play the drums. In her eighth grade year, her music director, Mr. Micheal Emmerich, had her play the tenor sax in the school jazz band and in the schools concert band, and from then on she has loved the tenor. That same year, she picked up the clarinet and the flute. Two weeks after getting the flute, she was up to the high school level.
Danielle's freshman year, she entered the high school band, and she ,was and still is, under the direction of Mr. Joe Smith. She played the alto sax for marching band, and tenor for jazz and concert. That same year, she picked up the piccolo.
Now, in her sophomore year, Danielle has picked up the soprano sax and the bass guitar. Now, she knows nine different instruments and is perfecting her talent on the bass. She just keeps adding more and more instruments to her collection. She has attended five different contests throughout all of her years in music, and has recieved perfect firsts in all.
In the years to come, after Danielle graduates high school, she plans to attend an arts academy majoring in music and minoring in dance. She later wants to become a performing musician and have her own band, or a studio musician. Music has been her life, and she always wants it to remain that way.

My un-professional bio.
Hey, this is Danielle. I think i'm just your average teen, who is just a music fanatic. In my family, if you don't play an instrument or sing, you are basically the black sheep...haha. I have several relatives in bands such as the Fuglies(they are from bridgeport) and The Hardknox band(which is also in Lawerence county). My father is a drummer, and backs me up on them sometimes...he also does my recording...so i have been raised around music all my life. I can be a perfectionist, and I tend to be very hard on myself at times. I love all genres of music except polka, and that thing where the "singer" screams in your ear for a whole four minuets straight, but yet I do like the hard rock and heavy metal(just subtract the whole screaming thing lol). I love to write my own music and I am wanting to take voice lessons to perfect my singing. I also write my own lyrics lol...I can be a shy person until you get to know me, but, if I'm on stage, I can be EXTREMELY outgoing. I love to meet new people, and I love to make new friends. If you send me a request, I will get back to you and keep in touch! lol...well that's enough about me.
Lots of love ♥ Danielle
