Welcome to the drummerboy's page!
Tosin or Tee as he is popularly known was brought up in a Christian home, where his dad was a minister in the church. He was auditioned in front of his friends and teachers at the tender age of 10 to sing at his parents church. His audition was successful to his amazement and that of his parents but little did he know that this would be the beginning of his musical journey. He dedicated his spare time to singing, watching music videos and going for rehearsals and was committed to the children's choir for the next 3 years. At 13 he developed an interest in the drums. He went to gigs and concerts with his parents and brothers to watch various top artists and drummers. He messed around on every drum kit he could lay his hands on and eventually took up lessons to hone his skills. Tosin moved to london at the age of 18 where he began playing professionally. He recently completed his Diploma Course at The Institute of Contemporary Music where he was tutored by some of the best musicians in the country
He has done numerous gigs, concerts and TV work since arriving in the UK and worked with some of the finest gospel artists and bands around. His talent has been appreciated by great drummers in the Uk including Berklee college of Music alumnus Justin Scott, world renowned drummer from New York, Pete Zeldman and gospel artists including Muyiwa from RiverSongz and Sam Blake. He played at the London Festival of Life in 2002, one of the UKs biggest Christian event hosting over 10,000 people every year at the Excel Centre.
