Originally from N.Ireland,Ive always been into rock/metal & always dreamt of being in a rock/metal band!!After hearing the awsome sounds of Chuck Schuldiner(RIP)I decided I wanted to play guitar/bass. I played Spanish Classical guitar, then rythm rock guitar in a local band. Started playing bass when I was 15 & have been playing ever since in various grunge, punk & rock bands including Seven, Lint, Creeper, Tone Deaf, Dr Jekyll & Suffrajets. I love writing my own stuff & singing,Ive been backing vocalist in a few bands & sung in a few choirs & had a record deal with a major subsiduary label & went to LA to record my album & played at the Whiskey Ago go Holywood.I released an EP & toured the UK.
Ive been on BBC/UK Horizons channel 4 XFM Radio 1 & also in Metal Hammer Rocksound Kerrang Disorder etc. I have played with bands such as The Buzzcocks, The Darkness, Girlschool, Inme, UK Subs, Biffy Clyro, Reuben, Kennedy soundtrack, Sugar Coma, Electralane, Nocturnal playground, Nemhain, Spitting Blood and NYA to name a few.
I also did a solo 5 track cd called 'Night Visions'(check out www.myspace.com/charliemusictest). I sang/growled in Inner Eden with John Rae (ex Wykked Wytch)and Pierre Couquet (ex Anorexia Nervosa)& co wrote their new EP rebirth.
I like going to the gym, writing music, lyrics & stories,singing & generally rockin'out, meeting new people & musicians.I love playing live aswell as going to gigs & watching bands/artists perform. I have a few musical projects in the pipeline for the future so watch this space!!!!
